About The Foundation for Academic Cultural Exchange (F.A.C.E.)

The Foundation for Academic Cultural Exchange (F.A.C.E.) is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting cross-cultural understanding through our secondary school student exchange program. We are a U.S. Department of State designated high school exchange organization in operation since 1986. F.A.C.E. offers remarkable opportunities for students from different nations to live with American families or in an accredited boarding school, while attending an American high school for an entire school year (10 months), or just one semester (5 months). Currently, we have overseas partners from Spain, Germany, Japan, S. Korea, China, Thailand, Vietnam, and Mexico.

Our Foundation rests on the belief that there is a vital need for mutual understanding and tolerance in the world. In response to this need, F.A.C.E., in cooperation with our overseas partners, has created a unique foreign exchange program that promotes cultural immersion through the homestay experience.
